Dickinson's Original Witch Hazel Oil Controlling Towelettes are awesome!

I've been pretty busy lately! The girls are back in school after Spring Break, I've started Weight Watchers and I've been spearheading a campaign to get actor Joe Manganiello as a Host on Saturday Night Live!

But, besides all that fun stuff...I've gotten my first Influenster.com Vox Box! I've been trying all the lovely complimentary products I received in my Sugar and Spice Vox Box for testing purposes and I wanted to take a blog post to talk about one of the items that I am really enjoying!

Dickinson's Original Witch Hazel Oil Controlling Towelettes are individually wrapped wipes that contain Witch Hazel.  I know some of you might be thinking who is Witch Hazel, and why is she in a wipe!?

LOL Relax Hazel, no one is talking about you!

I like to check everything out on google, so though I had heard about it before and I knew it was some type of plant I checked the wikipedia link for Witch Hazel anyway. Informative, no?

So now we know it is a plant and it has numerous medicinal uses. I honestly never knew it could be used for hemorrhoids or "child birth" wounds (YIPES, anyone else scared just hearing that? I know I am).  Let's get back on track though!  Dickinson's has put all the goodness of Witch Hazel into a little towelette (they remind me of a bigger, more moist Wet-Nap you get from a good BBQ place or a higher priced gas station sometimes)  They contain ONLY:  All natural Witch Hazel (which is made of Witch Hazel extract and Natural Grain Alcohol in 14% concentration) Aloe Barbadensis Leaf extract and Sodium Benzoate

I like that there are only 4 total ingredients in these babies! I have very sensitive skin that swells and reddens at the slightest disturbance! I also have very oily, shiny skin.  These wipes combat both these issues.  I've recently plucked my eyebrows and when I was done, I simply wiped my face down with one of my towelettes, no swelling, no redness! I was shocked because I usually look like a had a botched botox job by the time I am done with any type of hair removal involving my brows!

I won't lie, they do have a strange scent.  I am going to attribute it to the natural ingredients (have you ever smelled fresh cut aloe? It doesn't smell great!) But, the goods outweigh the scent so I can't complain! My skin is soft, smooth, I have an even color/tone and I haven't been oily since I started using them.  I love that I can throw a couple in my purse as well and know that if I need them they are there.  I certainly recommend Dickinson's Original Witch Hazel Oil Controlling Towelettes and I look forward to trying the other products in their line! (Click the link to check out the whole page!)

Here is a wipe in my purse, next to the face powder I haven't really had to use lately! For a little fun how about Witch Hazel and Bugs Bunny in a scene from Broom-Stick Bunny!
I bet she could have just use some Dickinson's Original products and turned out just as cute!

**These products were sent to me complimentary by Influenster for testing purposes, I did not purchase these myself.  This review contains my own opinion and experiences with the products.**
